A NSW Ambulance spokesman said paramedics responded to a vehicle "running into the back of" a garbage truck on Gregadoo Road at 11.06am.
Three ambulance crews responded to the incident and treated one patient upon arrival.
In other news:
The spokesman said a woman in her 20s was "conscious and alert".
However, she was treated for facial injuries before she was taken to Wagga Base Hospital.
