Goals to Matt Menser midway through the first half and another to Ryan McKenzie after about 70 minutes was enough for Henwood Park to clinch a preliminary final berth against the defending premiers.
Menser got to the ball just before Leeton's keeper to open the scoring, before McKenzie took advantage of a pinpoint Cameron Weir cross in the second half to book Henwood Park's place in the final three.
Lake Albert lost to Hanwood 1-0 in the major semi, with the Griffith club the first team through to the grand final.
Leeton United entered the match as arguably the competition's form team after beating top five opposition the past three weeks, but were unable to find a way past Hawks keeper Nathan Trinder and missed suspended skipper Joey Fondacaro.
"We were pretty lucky to get out of it. They played really well and they had a lot of chances, we had a lot of chances, we were just fortunate our keeper saved us a few times," Menser said.
"They were missing their skipper today, he's a good player and it definitely hurt them."
The Hawks lost 2-1 to Lake Albert in the first week of finals after conceding a penalty with a minute left in extra time.
Lake Albert were far too strong 4-0 in their previous meeting but town pride will go on the line in next Sunday's preliminary final at Junee.
"We're looking forward to it, we took it all the way to the last minute last time and just fell short," Menser said.
"We're happy to get another crack at it."
