The Magpies disposed of North Wagga 63-35 in Saturday's preliminary final to book a rematch with the Bushsows, who beat The Rock by two goals in their only defeat of the season in the qualifying final.
CSU will be keen for revenge after losing the past two deciders to TRYC, but the Magpies are looking to secure three consecutive premierships for the club for the first time.
"I feel like even though the margin (against Saints) was nearly 30 goals, it still felt like a challenge, star defender O'Leary said.
"At training we worked on our defensive pressure and bringing the ball down into our attacking end, and that's what we wanted to work on in the game."
O'Leary said the rivalry with CSU is a friendly one and she's aware how desperate they'll be to end the Magpies' grand final winning run.
"It's not nasty at all. Everyone gets a bit of white line fever when we step on the court but as soon as it's over we all get along pretty well,": O'Leary said.
"Everyone wants to win, it's an A grade netball grand final. Their attacking end has improved heaps since the first time we played them, but we have the team to bring it to them.
"The girls are so pumped and to win three in a row would be amazing, especially with a young side."
