Hallcroft brought up his first double on the new circuit as Machkori and Clock Winder both tasted success.
Both made it two wins in their last three starts.
Machkori was beaten at Melton last time out, but Hallcroft has been impressed with the Philip Bryce-trained mare.
"She is going really good and Phil has done a great job with her since coming from Adelaide," Hallcroft said.
"She was unlucky not to finish closer in Melbourne last week, she probably wouldn't have won.
"I was relatively confident."
Machkori charged home late to take out the Southwest Stockfeeds Pace (1740m) by 10 metres.
Hallcroft was particularly pleased with how she found the line late.
"That was the first time she's hit and front and wanted to keep on trucking," he said. "Normally she flies through and gets there late but she really hit the line hard."
Hallcroft was also very pleased with Clock Winder who brought up his third win.
"He's a funny horse who lacks a bit of gate speed as he's so big and gangly I've been nursing him through," he said.
"I thought he was a bit better than them."
He's still yet to run a placing but Hallcroft believes there are plenty more wins in store, particularly if luck is on his side.
"He's one of them horses that if it is run to suit he can be very good but if it is not run to suit he can look very unlucky," Hallcroft said.
"He's had 15 starts now and looking through his record he's been held up late about five times.
"He went around in a Breeders Challenge heat and that was just too hard .... but I like him and think he's a nice horse."
Ellen Bartley and Blake Jones also combined for a double with Mammals Prince and Hunza Valley.
Mammals Prince won by 11.3 metres and was one of six horses to score by at least eight metres over the 10 races.
