Perrot claimed back-to-back medals in 2016 and 2017 before finishing second last season as Cootamundra's Kristen Byrne and Southcity's Bailey Porter shared last year's nod.
However off the back of an undefeated season for the Dragons, Perrot scored a thrilling win in Friday night's vote count.
Perrot came into the final five rounds with a seven-point advantage.
However her rivals chipped away at her lead in the final few rounds before finishing four points clear of Young's Laura Eastlake with Albury young gun Jaxan Blackhall, who is playing her first season in seniors, third a further seven points adrift.
Temora's unbeaten season was ended by Brothers in the major semi-final.
They now face Kangaroos in the preliminary final at Harris Park on Sunday.
Training commitments prevented Perrot from accepting the award in person on Friday night.
