Turvey Park FRNSW Wagga responded to a call at about 11.50pm on Tuesday night for a vehicle alight on Eunony Bridge Road.
"They were there after 12pm and finished by 12.20pm," a spokesperson said.
"Just one unit attended. Police were notified."
Firefighters also responded to a grass fire on Tuesday night at 6.30pm at Red Hill Road.
The spokesperson reminded residents that as it is starting to dry out it is time to start preparing for bush fire season.
