Temora coach Jake Wooden was unhappy to see their season fall away in the second week of finals but said they simply didn't match a better and quicker Marrar.

The Bombers didn't allow Temora to dictate terms and played the game at their pace. From the 15th minute of the first quarter to late in the third, the 'Roos kicked just three goals to Marrar's 13.
"I'm very disappointed. I thought we were a lot better than what we dished up today," Wooden said.
"They're a quality team and we knew it was going to be tough... we knew we had to bring our best. But their rebound footy was just too quick for us. Once they got on the outside of us, they linked up quite well, used it well, and we couldn't stop them.
"I suppose everything went well for them and we couldn't play any worse I don't think."
Jacob Turner was a bright light and kicked five of Temora's eight goals, including two in the second quarter to give some hope they could get back into the contest.
He threatened early too, setting up their opening goal for Matt Harpley and then kicking one himself to make it a one-point game. But despite four marks and a free kick in the first term, he kicked 1.1, put one out on the full and turned it over.
Against a Marrar side determined to pounce, errors were costly. And they couldn't seem to take a trick with the umpires, in a game that threatened to blow up.
Wooden agreed even the bounce of the ball looked against them at times.
"I'd agree with that. But you make your own luck when you're up and about, it goes your way. And when you seem to be struggling a bit, you find it doesn't," he said.
He said when Temora broke down, particularly at half-forward, Marrar swarmed in numbers and set up their counter-attack.
Jeff Mannell put in another big game keeping a tight rein on Marrar's prime mover, Jackson Moye. Sam Jensen tried hard to get Temora going in the middle but was always under pressure from the Bombers, and Rob Krause finished a strong season courageously.
But falling short of the preliminary final was below a pass mark for Wooden, who were in the top three in early August, however he said they'll take stock and aim up against next season.
The loss continued a tale of disappointment against the Bombers, who they haven't beaten since their semi-final in 2017, from which Marrar recovered to come back and win the flag.
