Marrar powered into the Farrer League preliminary final with a comprehensive 44-point thumping of Temora on Sunday, and that was without kicking a goal in the last quarter.

The Bombers had a season to save after last week's loss to East Wagga-Kooringal and they left little to chance in the first semi-final at Maher Oval.
Feeding off ruckman Nick Molkentin and using their speed and run, they set up the 15.11 (101) to 8.9 (57) victory early against the Kangaroos, and had it well and truly in the bag by the third quarter.
"I thought our first two-and-a-half quarters was really positive," Marrar coach Shane Lenon said.
"We learnt a little bit last week, we were beaten by a better side... but I was happy with the response. The first two-and-a-half quarters they were strong at the footy and strong at the man with the tackling and I thought they did a good job."

The Bombers had their first shot at goal after just 20 seconds and, although they led by just a point midway through the first quarter, started to take control late to go to the first break 18 points up, with five individual goalkickers.
At that point, Temora weren't quite out of it. But if they wanted to get back into it, they needed to stop the rot, and quickly.
Instead, Rhys Mooney was kicking Marrar's sixth goal after the first centre clearance and the margin was 24-points and climbing.
The Kangaroos tried to lift their pressure and twice in the second quarter closed it to 19 points but they couldn't take a trick, with the bounce of the ball against them as well as plenty of decisions.
Just before half-time, Cal Gardner kicked his second, finishing off some fluid Marrar football which took them coast to coast.
It ended a brief period of Temora momentum and was followed by Marrar kicking the first five goals of the third quarter. Up by 62 points, they were sending the Roos into cricket season, and threatening to rack up a cricket score in the process.
As it turned out, Temora kicked the last three goals of the game as Marrar missed their last five shots at goal.
Lenon said he wouldn't be too critical about their finish given the effort that came beforehand but did remind his players that they needed to learn from it going into next week's showdown with North Wagga.
Noting they had some "passengers" in their first week of finals, he was thrilled with a strong team effort declaring "that certainly wasn't the case today."
Molkentin ensured they had first use from the outset, Gardner was good going through the middle as well as kicking two goals while Jack Reynolds on a wing also kicked two goals and was instrumental in creating the run they needed.
He said the same approach will be the focus next week against the Saints.
"If we can get the ball in quick to our forward line, our forwards can do the job, we've seen that today," Lenon said. "It'll be another big challenge and obviously North Wagga are going to be keen to hit back."
The Bombers came through injury free. Injured full-back Adam Whyte's quad injury is 'a slight tear' and he is rated only 'some chance' of returning but Lenon conceded he hasn't played much football in the second half of the year.
