Griffith finished the home and away season with wins over top five teams Mangoplah-Cookardinia United-Eastlakes and Wagga Tigers to hit finals full of momentum.
While the Swans will be without three of their most experienced footballers, in Mick Duncan, Guy Orton and Sam Daniel, on Saturday, Griggs is happy with how the Swans are building heading into the business end of the season.
"Yeah we're getting there," Griggs said.
"It's handy when you get your top end players back playing consistently.
"I think we are peaking at the right time of the year. Obviously we were a bit up and down throughout the year but at this stage of the game, what happened previously doesn't really matter, to be honest."
The Swans started the season on fire, then went through a mid-year slump, losing four of eight games at one stage.
Griggs was never too concerned.
"I knew our best footy was ahead of us and the boys knew that as well," he said.
"I think the best thing was that we showed a bit of character on the weekend. I think that was probably missing, just that belief that it doesn't really matter what position we're in, we can kick goals quick and that's probably the biggest relief, showing we're in the right spot."
Griffith will go into the qualifying final against Wagga Tigers at Narrandera Sportsground full of confidence after a 10-point final-round win over them.
Griggs believes pressure is the key to repeating the result.
"I thought our pressure was pretty good throughout the day, not giving them that much time to run, use that link up handball," he said.
"Yes, they had their moments but for most of the day I thought we were pretty good.
"Like any team, you put the right amount of pressure on, they're going to make mistakes. It's being able to capitalise on it."
