Reid returned home to Temora this season after three years at Marrar. Now he finds himself facing the Bombers in a sudden-death final at Maher Oval.

"It should be a bit of fun against the boys," Reid said.

"There hasn't been too much banter yet but I'm sure there will be. It's pretty hard being on the losing side, but then it's hard being on the winning side so either way it's pretty tough.

"At the end of the day as long as we have a good laugh and a good time, that's the main thing."

Temora tuned up for the clash against the Bombers with a 46-point win over Coleambally in last Sunday's elimination final.

Marrar, meantime, went down to East Wagga-Kooringal by 17 points.

Reid believes they can keep their season alive with another win.

"The way we played last week, we'll give it a good nudge," he said.

"We've got to play four quarters of footy and we want to get off to a good start. If we can get on top of their young kids, make them drop their head early and make it a long day. That's what happened last week and it can be hard to get back up for young blokes."

Reid was an integral part of two Marrar premierships and is confident he knows the key to stopping the Bombers.

"Basically stop their good ball users," he said.

"Nick Molk, Jacko Moye, Josh Hagar and then Zachy Walgers up forward. They're the main four. If we can lock down on them in the middle then we'll be a good chance."
