The Swans set up a rematch with Tigers in next week's qualifying final after a come-from-behind victory, 14.6 (90) to 11.14 (80) at Robertson Oval.
Tigers led by 21 points at three-quarter-time but Griffith's Conlan brothers turned it on in the final quarter to help the Swans overrun the home team.
The loss drops Tigers to second position on the ladder, with Coolamon leaping into top spot to claim the minor premiership.
Of more concern for Tigers was the fact it had no bench from half-time with a shoulder injury to ruckman Tom Osmotherly the most serious of the three.
Jacob Conlan was the star for the Swans, kicking seven goals, including four in the final term to lead Griffith to victory.
Younger brother Lucas Conlan also kicked two in the final term to finish with four goals for the day.
Griffith coach Will Griggs was rapt with the way his team finished off the game with plenty of hunger to get the points.
"Our last quarter was fantastic, our first quarter was great and our pressure throughout the game was great," Griggs said.
"It was a topsy turvey day really. We started well, they came back and then we finished well. I know they had no one on the bench but I think we only had one left on the bench in the last quarter too so it was pretty similar.
"We changed a few things up (in the last quarter), we tried to isolate the Conlans a little but more, play a few blokes a little bit higher and it seemed to work, they kicked seven and four each."
Griggs believes the win will give his team plenty of confidence heading into a qualifying final showdown with Tigers again next Saturday.
"It's just a bit of belief. We bought all the players in after the game and had a bit of a chat out on the ground and if that doesn't make you believe you can do something special this year then nothing will," he said.
"The character the boys showed in that last quarter was fantastic."
Guy Orton missed the final round clash with a neck injury but will be right for next week, while Mick Duncan and Sam Daniel didn't finish the game but are expected to be available for finals.
Wagga Tigers coach Troy Maiden said he expects Osmotherly, Jesse Manton (groin) and Jackson Kelly (cork) all to be right for next week, as well as Brendy Myers and Josh Gaynor, who missed Saturday's loss.
Heath Northey and Nathan Richards were other strong contributors for Griffith, while Tom Keogh was one of Tigers' best.
