Some 17 years after making his first grade debut, Cerato will bring up the milestone in the final round clash against Narrandera.
"It means I've spent a fair few years playing footy at the club," Cerato said.
"It's just a milestone that comes up. You don't play for them. You play for premierships not 200 games."
Naturally Turvey Park's 2002 premiership is Cerato's highlight of his career at Maher Oval.
He also said the five years playing under Anthony Dowdle building up to the club's 2009 grand final appearance under Brad Burkinshaw was another of his more enjoyable periods at the club.
Cerato, who spent two years coaching the Bulldogs, has enjoyed returning to the club in the past two years.
"I have. The young blokes around the park, watching them come on and start to make a name for themselves has been good," he said.
"It's been a good stepping stone for them and I've enjoyed it. It's a bit disappointing just to miss out on finals but it's probably a good thing in a way. It will make us a fair bit more hungrier to get the wins next year."
Cerato rates Wally Sykes, Jeremy Masterson and Ben Harper as the best he has played with at Turvey Park and his cousin Christen McPherson as his toughest opponent.
Cerato, 35, plans to play on for one more season and is confident the future is bright at Turvey Park.
"We've been in every game bar two this year and that's the progression from last year to this year. We're only getting beat by two to four goals," he said.
"It's only a 15 minute lapse that is costing us and you know that once the young fellas get consistency across the board for four quarters then we're going to be looking alright.
"The best thing is the young fellas are learning every week."
Along with 200 games at Turvey Park, Cerato spent two years at Lockhart as co-coach, two years at Coleambally and one season at Griffith.
