Carroll injured his AC joint in the Hawks' come-from-behind win over Temora in the final round.
EWK coach Matt Hard hopes Carroll will be available for the Hawks' second final next week.
"Myles will miss this week but we're hoping to get him back next week," Hard said.
Carroll, Daniel Hitchens and Sam Hodges are the only Hawks that played in the win over Temora that are not named for Saturday's final with Marrar at McPherson Oval.
Chris Jackson, Jeremy Piercy, Brenton Roberts and Callum Polsen are among the inclusions on an extended bench.
Marrar have added Cal Gardner, Truman Carroll, Josh Hagar and Jack Reynolds, with Archie Howard, Blake Walker and Sam Turner making way.
There has been little movement in the Coleambally and Temora squads for Sunday's elimination final at Maher Oval.
The Blues have named an unchanged line-up, while the Kangaroos have added Lachlan Pellow to an extended bench.
