Riverina Police District Acting Inspector Maggie Deall said a 23 and a 30-year-old had been charged with affray.
"They were both from Gundagai," she said.
"It is absolutely disappointing.
"We want people to attend a sporting event and enjoy it without having to witness bad behaviour."

The 23-year-old is due in court in September and the 30-year-old in October.
Earlier in the week, The Daily Advertiser reported that Group Nine and Country Rugby League were investigating the incident.
The two spectators have since been banned from Group Nine Games for the rest of the year.
It was the only incident in the large crowd.
Over $8100 was paid through the gate to see who would finish on top of the ladder heading into finals.
