RIVERINA talent Amelia Hassett has been identified as a potential star of the future after being selected to participate at the Australian Development Camp at Basketball Australia's Centre of Excellence.
The Cootamundra Cougars junior is one of 18 girls selected for the four day camp in Canberra from September 30 to October 2.
The 15-year-old centre is based in Adelong, has come through the Cootamundra Cougars system and will suit up for defending champions Wagga Blaze in the Waratah League division one finals at Terrigal this weekend.
Hassett was one of the go-to players for NSW Country in their Australian under-16 championships campaign at Darwin last month.
The emphasis of the Australian Development Camp will be on skill and concept development.
