Coolamon schoolboy Ryan Allen kicked it off with a one-on-one beauty over Turvey Park's Jackson Hughes at Maher Oval on Saturday.
Not to be outdone, Collingullie-Glenfield Park teenager Ed Perryman took an absolute ripper for the Demons against Ganmain-Grong Grong-Matong on Sunday.
Perryman's pearler just so happened to be caught on camera by Marrar photographer Cathie Fox.
Fox, who is secretary of the Marrar Bombers, was out at Ganmain Sportsground on Sunday and caught Perryman soaring over the pack, moment by moment, brilliantly.
The mark was one part of a brilliant performance by Perryman, who kicked three goals and did his best to get the Demons over the line, only to go down by 22 points.
AFL Riverina's cameras also caught both marks, just.
Early indications in AFL Riverina's poll on Facebook gave the nod to Perryman.
The Daily Advertiser sports editor Matt Malone witnessed both and gave the nod to Allen, while Ganmain-Grong Grong-Matong captain Ben Walsh also got a good view of the two marks and thought Perryman's was the better one.
The Daily Advertiser is always looking to use as many photos as possible from sport across the Riverina and is happy to accept contributions from photographers across the region.
