No matter your background or situation the Personnel Group can help you find work.
The not-for-profit organisation is passionate about helping people find a job where they will flourish and thrive.
Recently services were expanded in Wagga to include Transition to Work - a specialised program supporting local youth, and a brand new training course called Career Transition Assistance for mature-age job seekers.
The course is available to people aged 45 years and over, who are currently seeking employment and are registered with a jobactive provider.
The program is designed to provide mature-aged jobseekers with enhanced knowledge and skills, to gain a competitive edge in the jobs market.
The training is delivered in eight modules over eight weeks. Upon completion, people will be armed with skills to immediately assist them with their job search, including enhanced interview skills, a first aid certificate, a tailored career path plan and digital literacy skills required for the modern workplace.
"We are proud to be able to offer a much-needed program to the community," Personnel Group CEO Tracey Fraser said.
"The course content is practical and relevant to the community they live in, with information about the local employment market and onsite visits to local employers."
Other programs
Disability Employment Service - This has been a focus of the Personnel Group since the organisation was formed in 1986.
"We have the knowledge, passion and experience to ensure that you're in good hands," Tracey said.
"We provide our clients with face-to-face support and develop an individualised plan to assist them in gaining the right skills and training to achieve their goals.
"Our team also market our jobseekers to local employers and we provide on-the-job training once you have been successful getting a job. Our team is always here to provide you support, for as long as you need."
Transition to Work - Helping young people aged 15 to 21, who have not completed year 12, not engaged at school, or are indigenous.
"We work with individuals on a one-on-one basis to develop their knowledge, practical skills and experience required to kick start their career," Tracey said.
"We work with you to develop your career goals and work on a plan to either re-engage in education, and/or move into employment. We support individuals all the way, whether it's support with your study to ensure that you successfully complete a course, or help with finding a job and support to maintain long-term employment."
