The Wagga club took out the open A grade final with a comfortable win over Burradoo at Euberta Polocrosse Grounds.
It was a successful day for the zone with Albury-Holbrook claiming the A mixed title.
The hometown victory capped off another successful edition of the Wagga carnival, according to club president Dustin Bradshaw.
"The carnival was well attended," Bradshaw said.
"We had 22 teams with teams coming from as far as Burradoo and Milton in the Southern Highlands to Barkool and Deniliquin in the south."
The carnival featured four members of the current Australian team including captain Abbott Grills, Jim Grills, Lucy Grills and Will Weston.
All four were part of the World Cup-winning team at Warwick in April.
The club also had 150 people attend the function on Saturday night, that featured the awards for the South West Slopes zone.
Will Weston was awarded male zone player of the year, while Lucy Grills was named best female player.
Members of the Wagga club will represent the zone at the NSW championships at Dunedoo next weekend, August 3-4.
