The 20-year-old picked up injuries both his knee and ankle in the Bulldogs' 30-point loss to Coolamon at Maher Oval on Saturday.
Cuthbert has been diagnosed with a medial ligament strain in his knee. He also suffered ligament to his ankle.
Cuthbert has been told he will miss five to six weeks with his knee injury and the Bulldogs only have five games remaining.
But the first-year Turvey Park recruit is not prepared to give up on his season just yet.
"I'll do whatever it takes to get back," Cuthbert said.
"The physio asked if there is any point getting back for one game but I'll see how I go. I usually heal pretty quick."
The injuries, sustained in the last quarter of last Saturday's game, continued a frustrating debut season at Turvey Park for Cuthbert.
Unavailability and suspension have restricted him to seven games but he has proved his worth, being named in the Bulldogs' best on four occasions.
"I've only played seven games, so I haven't played much," he said.
"I've been blessed other years, I've never really had many injuries so my time had probably come."
Despite the interrupted nature of his season, Cuthbert has enjoyed his first year at Maher Oval.
The Bulldogs won't play finals but have won three games so far and showed promising signs for the future.
"There are really good signs," Cuthbert said.
"Once the young fellas grow a bit, we'll be good."
Turvey Park will look to add to their tally of wins on Saturday when they host Leeton-Whitton at Maher Oval.
Full-forward Clint Shields is a chance to return from a back injury, while Ryan Shaw is likely to be called into the senior team after coming back from a knee complaint.
Daniel Leary is still a couple of weeks away, while Jack Haggar and Lachlan Leary face a race against time to play again this season after both battling syndesmosis injuries.
Turvey Park-coach Mark Carroll knows the Bulldogs will need to be at their best to get over Leeton-Whitton on Saturday, with the Crows improving vastly over the last month of the competition.
