Little declared his side the form team of the competition despite a 18-16 loss to Gundagai at Anzac Park on Sunday.
Brothers are fifth on the ladder, a win plus percentage clear of Temora, but Little was impressed with how his side stepped up to tackle the premiers.
"I know we lost but I think we are the form team of the comp," Little said
"The last four weeks we've shown that and have beaten some big sides and we've been able to sustain good footy.
"We haven't dropped, I think we're playing great and I'm not disappointed in the boys."
It took seven rounds for Brothers to win a game this season, but they've only lost twice since.
One was a 40-point drubbing by Southcity at the midway point of the season but they had beaten top four sides Tumut and Albury before falling to the ladder leaders.
Despite the narrow loss Little believes they showed just how good the side can be.
Defensively he was thrilled with their performance.
Gundagai had plenty of opportunities to score points, but Brothers usually had the answers.
"I thought we deserved to win, I think they had 40 sets to our 30 and we just can't defend all day," Little said.
"Any other club who plays them on their home turf with that much possession and you get flogged by 40.
"The boys are pretty disappointed, and that they deserved to win, but I'm happy and we just have to keep going."
Little injured his hamstring preventing a Gundagai try in the win.
Injuries problems ruined what shaped as a big season for the club chasing their first title since 1995 last year and threatened to derail things earlier this season.
Little admitted they didn't have a lot off the bench on Sunday and is hopeful his problem isn't too bad.
Jordan Little, Nick Hay, Clifford Morris, Ethan Mackenzie, Brigham Tukukino and Brady Collins are all sidelined at the moment.
Brothers tackle winless Cootamundra on Sunday before games against Temora, Junee and Southcity to come.
