The Cherrypickers scored just their fourth win of the season in the rout at Alfred Oval on Sunday.
Coach Roy Jewitt was relieved to bring up the win in what has been a testing season for the club.
"We've been capable of doing it all year but unfortunately we just haven't," Jewitt said.

The Cherrypickers led 20-0 at half-time and continued the onslaught in the second half.
It's a rare occasion they didn't have wild form fluctuations in a game either.
"We started well, finished well so it was a good performance," Jewitt said.
"I'm very happy.
"We scored some nice tries, defended well and the boys did good."
Some of their young guns stood up.
Blake Coombes was strong coming off the bench and into lock while Jacob Lucas added some spark to the side.
The result completed a clean sweep of Junee Diesels with under-17s, league tag and reserve grade all scoring victories.
Young's under-19s travelled to Gundagai and registered a win over the Tigers.
Young's away to Southcity Bulls this weekend.
