The Wagga side have put in Jekyll and Hyde like performances in the past fortnight.
They were excellent in defeating ladder leaders Gundagai 43-20 before disappointing last week against Brothers.
Dumbrell wants the side to switch on.
"We have to turn up with the right attitude," Dumbrell said.
"It is a big mental game and if we turn up ready to fight for every inch we should be back to our best."
Zac Graham returns to the side after missing the 36-4 loss to Brothers last week however halves partner Trae O'Neill is in doubt with an ankle problem.
Dumbrell believes it will be a huge boost as they look to stay in reach of fifth position.
"It was definitely be good to have him back as he just brings so much energy and talk to the team," he said.
Temora are a win outside the top five with Kangaroos three points behind them in seventh.
