The move to Yirribee Pacing Stud has certainly paid off for Peter McRae.
McRae drove a double for trainer Rod Woodhouse at Riverina Paceway on Friday with Nobbys Clock and Mighty Moke Lombo both successful.
After linking with the stable two weeks ago, McRae was certainly pleased with how things have started.
"It's been good," McRae said.
"We came into knowing we could have a good crack as the horses have been going well."
Nobbys Clock went one better than last week to bring up his second win in eight career starts while Mighty Moke Lombo had only been placed once in his last 14 starts, a win at Ballarat last May.
However he was able to utilise the sprint lane to run down $1.60 favourite All Good.
"His form in figures weren't good but his sectionals have been unreal so he's been knocking on the door," McRae said.
"With the nine horse scratching it made me get down behind the favourite and got the perfect position throughout the run."
Big winners were a feature on the program.
Ultimate Risk was a $61 winner before Grinning Punter won the last at $81.
Only four of the nine winners saluted at under double figure odds with Mighty Moke Lombo a $9 winner.
