Publicity officer Sue Harding encourages families to round off the school holidays at the annual event.
"The Swap Meet, now in its 26th year, is put on by the Classic and Historic Automobile Club as their major annual charity effort, and being so big it takes a lot of organising, by dozens of volunteers," she said.
"Although its origins lie mainly in swapping car parts, the Swap Meet has greatly diversified over the years.
"The common thread is value for money. Some incredible bargains can be found, and even kids with a few dollars in pocket money can find treasures to take home and cherish."

Ms Harding said there would also be a Show and Shine display of classic and modern cars and trucks on the trotting track.
"The early birds will be waiting to snap up doorbusters when the Showground gates open at 7am, but there will still be plenty of bargains for those who prefer a more leisurely start to their day," she said.
"The real stragglers miss out, though, it's all over by 2pm or 3pm. Swappers come from far and wide to swap and socialise with each other, and to offer a vast array of goods to the public."
The event is on at the Wagga Showgrounds on Sunday. Gate entry is $5, but children are free. Every year, proceeds go to chosen local charities and community groups.
This year, the funds will go towards Can Assist, which aids those dealing with cancer, and Older Men New Ideas, which fosters social opportunities for older men.
