NORTH Wagga Public School was a victim to an attempted break-in earlier this week.
The school has been unoccupied during the school holidays, with no one on site during the incident.

The incident occurred between Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning.

"The was a little bit of damage to the roller door at the canteen, but no entry was gained and nothing has appeared to be stolen," Acting Inspector Fletcher said.
"It is not uncommon for break-ins at the schools during school holiday time.
"But, this incident is not linked to any other investigations. It appears to be a one-off."
The scene has been forensically examined and police are waiting for results.
