Knights Meats and Deli has extended its trading for an extra two weeks in a bid to secure a potential buyer.

The iconic business announced mid-last week that it will be shutting up shop for good on July 20 after trading in Wagga for 45 years.
Tough trading conditions, soaring electricity costs and a cut to parking were some of the main reasons owners James and Deanna McNaughton chose to close.
However, a Wednesday morning Facebook announcement stated the business will extend trading until July 31.
"We have been overwhelmed by the support and kind words that have flowed in from the Wagga community and also from around the country," it stated.
"It was through the sharing of this news that someone has come forward who is very seriously interested in taking the business into the future."
With about 45 jobs on the line, Knights Meats has asked for the community's support over the next two weeks.
"We have everything crossed that Knights can be saved and can remain a part of this community for another 45 years," the statement read.
The Daily Advertiser contacted Knights Meats, but they declined to comment.
