The 59-point margin ranks behind only their 67-point win at Barellan, as the Saints dominated two quarters at McPherson Oval.

After an even first term, when scores were level at 7-all, the Saints switched on with six goals to none in the second.

The league leaders finished it off with nine scoring shots to one in the last to improve their percentage advantage over Marrar (150.46% to 130.43%).

Josh Campbell's five goals on arrival in first grade helped, while Cayden Winter chimed in with three.

"It was a great win," injured Saints coach Kirk Hamblin said.

"We had a pretty basic game plan given the conditions and obviously Josh Campbell got on the end of a few, especially in the second quarter, which really helped us. He was great. He dropped a few marks he'd normally take but his pressure round the contest and his intensity at the ball was awesome."

Hamblin, who hopes to return from a calf injury next week, said their strong finish was positive given closing out games well hasn't been one of their strong points this year.

"Today we really put the foot down and come away with a real strong last quarter which set up a good win," Hamblin said.

Jack Flood was a strong presence in the midfield, backing up a good game at East Wagga last week, while Cayden Winter led his team well and chimed in with three goals.

For CSU, Joe Stapleton had another strong game across half-back to try to keep his side in it along with Tom Stapleton and Lou Miller.
