With first-year Coolamon ruckman Anthony Atkin unavailable for the next two weeks, Edyvean has been brought in to face the Goannas in what coincides with the club's 125-year anniversary celebrations.
It will be Edyvean's first senior game of the year after five games in reserve grade.
Edyvean, 37, is second on Coolamon's list of most first grade games played for the club, on 267.
He is only eight behind Andrew Pattison, who has the most of the modern era.
The Hoppers will also welcome back exciting forward Jeremiah Maslin for the game against the Goannas.
Injury has restricted Maslin to just three games for the season and he has not played since kicking four goals in Coolamon's win over Collingullie-Glenfield Park on June 8.
He's kicked 13 goals in the three games.
