The Gumly Gumly site, located on the corner of Tasman Road and Sturt Highway, will mark the second BP in the city and is now tipped to open in late September.
"The flagship site will include BP's signature Wild Bean café and a range of products and services specifically selected to provide convenience and cater to our customers' changing needs," a BP spokesperson said.
"We look forward to providing a great site."
A BP spokesperson previously told The Daily Advertiser that the station will provide about 10 new local jobs.
NRMA spokesperson Peter Khoury said towns with more service stations often offer cheaper fuel to commuters.
"The more service stations in the area, the better it is for the community and a broader spread in regional areas where there are higher concentration of service stations show cheaper prices more often than not," Mr Khoury said.
