Nine goals to gun forward Zach Walgers helped Marrar rack up their first century of the season on Saturday in a high-scoring affair which dealt a blow to The Rock-Yerong Creek's finals aspirations.

If he wasn't already rated one of their most valuable assets, Walgers issued a stark and stunning reminder as the Bombers overcame a strong start from the home side to run out 20.10 (130) to 13.11 (89) winners.
"He was brilliant today," Marrar coach Shane Lenon said. "He's just a very good footballer, a complete footballer. He can play forward, through the middle or you could put him on a back flank and he'd do a very good job for you."
Lenon said the Bombers had to work hard after TRYC kicked five goals in the opening term and were still right in it at half-time. But seven Marrar goals in the second quarter had swung momentum and six more in the third had them on track for their first trip into triple figures this year.
But the coach was just as concerned about the opposition score which was also the highest against them this season, even more than in their two losses to North Wagga and Coleambally.
"It was good footy but we weren't as good defensively," Lenon said.
"I'd say we've been hard to score against this year but we did focus a lot during the week on hitting the scoreboard more. But 13 goals is too many to have kicked against you so we need to get the balance right."
Marrar midfielder Jed Jenkins had another strong game, ensuring Tom Yates couldn't produce another matchwinning performance for the Magpies.
Bombers ruckman Nick Molkentin played a big role although the Pies' Jake Gunning also performed well for them. Teenager Blake Walker injured his ribs after putting his body on the line in a brave effort going back with the flight of the ball to mark.
Todd Hannam was a standout for TRYC marking strongly and kicking three goals from centre-half-forward. Andy Carey also kicked three for the Pies.
The result puts TRYC back to second last, behind CSU and Coleambally and two wins off the fifth-placed Northern Jets.
