The pair have re-signed for 2020 in a show of faith for where they believe the Bulldogs are headed.
Turvey Park sit in seventh position on the Riverina League ladder with three wins and six losses but possess one of the youngest lists in the competition.
Four of the Bulldogs' six losses have come by three goals of less with a decent injury list and a couple of mid-season departures not helping the cause.
Carroll did not hesitate in signing for a second season in charge at Maher Oval.
"I'm really looking forward to it and what's ahead," Carroll said.
"Looking at the positives, there is a really good future at the club if we can keep them together and everyone's happy and enjoying their football.
"Boris (Sykes) and I are good combination, it seems to work well and the boys have enjoyed the season."
Sykes also believes the future is bright at Turvey Park.
"Obviously with all the young talent we're working with, it is a great opportunity to go again and stamp a bit of competitiveness on the competition," Sykes said.
"We've built a platform this year, which is good, to go a bit further next year."
The coaching role has not slowed Sykes down on field as he has stamped himself as one of the premier midfielders in the competition with a strong first half of the year.
He says he has enjoyed the role alongside Carroll.
"It's been pretty good, actually," Sykes said.
"Having Curl (Carroll) as my off-sider has made it a lot easier for me. It's allowed me just to worry about leading from the front on the ground."
Turvey Park president Stephen Stapleton said it was an 'easy decision' to reappoint Carroll and Sykes.
"Pre-season training was the best it's been in a number of years and training numbers throughout the year and the professionalism, it's really helped create a family style atmosphere at the moment," Stapleton said.
Stapleton added that the club hopes to finish this year strongly with the return of a number of key players in coming weeks.
