Rachel Trenman got her Australia A campaign off to a great start.
The Wagga teenager top scored with 73 from 92 balls in the loss to England in their final warm up ahead of the Women's Ashes at Haslegrave Ground, Loughborough.
Coming to the crease at number seven against a Test attack, 18-year-old Trenaman struck seven boundaries to be a stand out in the 81-run loss.
Sammy-Jo Johnson was the next best with 39 as the tourists finished at 9-260, chasing England's total of 8-341.
Trenaman wasn't used with the ball.
Australia A's next game is against England Women's Academy at the same venue on Friday.
