Rachel Christmas from the Temora Medical Centre said two applications from would-be future GPs had now been received.
Dr Christmas said the launch of a music video - with a nod to the movie La La Land - had helped to spread the message about Temora's search for additional GPs in a positive way.
Already, two new part-time GPs have beguin working at the Temora Medical Centre in recent months.
The community's bid to bolster its GP numbers follows the opening of new $2.3 million operating at Temora Hospital in August 2018.
