Rosie Deacon, the artist of the Fun Foam Fantastical-Fabulous Fun exhibition, has worked with local artists from The Art Factory to create the colourful, bright passageway for the gallery's lower entrance.
The group spent two-days creating abstract sculptures, resembling birds, gemstones and cakes from Fun Foam, beads and sequins.
"I love meeting the community that my work is exhibited within. This workshop is not always something I do, but I love doing it whenever I can," she said.
Ms Deacon's installation incorporates hundreds of kilograms of Fun Foam - a gooey and textured craft material popular in the 1980s.
She said the exhibition has started from a loose idea, which she then starting building on in collaboration with local artists.
"The idea inspires the artwork and then the pieces created today will be installed in the exhibition like on the roof to create an immersive experience," she said.
"It is a special, meaningful experience to collaborate with the local artists."
The Fun Foam Fantastical-Fabulous Fun exhibition is open to the public on Saturday and will close next year on May 31.
