Cold conditions at Victoria Park only added to the hair-raising spectacle as The Rock-Yerong Creek's version of the Big Freeze struck a cord.
The junior and senior clubs joined forces to raise money for the Daniher family's fight against MND.
Junior president Michael Mazzocchi was one of those that took the plunge and was thrilled
"It was a good day and a bit of fun," Mazzocchi said.
"We had a great crowd at our junior footy match and raised a bit of money along the way."
Mazzocchi said more than $4300 had been raised with donations still coming through.
He also thanked Wagga Swans for their involvement.
"Everyone got into the spirit of it, it looked really good and the Wagga Swans guys were great and got involved to raise some money," Mazzocchi said.
"They had three guys go down all dressed up and we had all the junior football and netball coaches go down."
