"It's a business that has claimed a few awards in previous years, so for many years they have been a competitive business," said business chamber president Danielle Wait.
"The business has grown and grown, which is fantastic to see."
Despite the plummeting post-solstice weather, president of the Wagga Business Chamber, Danielle Wait, said it was easily one of the committee's best events.
"It was getting down to minus-3 or minus-4 on the night, but we braved the cold to be there," she said.
Having run over three-decades now, Ms Wait admitted it was becoming hard to build on previous year's perfection.
But adding a performance set this year, she said was the next step in the night's evolution.
"The room was set up to be jungle-themed and we had a Cirque de Soleil-style group to punctuate the evening before and between the awards."
"Everything happens to be reflective of what's happening across our region and as things are changing so do we.
"It's always interesting from year-to-year to see the new businesses emerging, and there are some really good ones."
A particular stand-out business for Ms Wait was Identikid, a personalised label making service operating out of Wagga.
As the recipients of the Daily Advertiser's Honour Roll induction, Ms Wait said it was evidence of how local businesses are making a worldwide splash with the advent of the internet.
"The size and scope is amazing," she said.
"Now with the regional and state-level showcases, it's not just a platform for the local stage,.
"We'll be looking to have a good representation of Wagga businesses at both the regional and state levels."
