The Demons lodged a clearance for Klemke's return this week and hope he can play a part in the road to the finals.
Klemke joined North Eastern Australian Football League (NEAFL) club Canberra Demons this year but a couple of concussions through the pre-season prevented him from playing a game.
The 21-year-old has returned home and Collingullie-Glenfield Park coach Luke Gestier hopes they will see Klemke back in Demons colours soon.
"I think the clearance is being done just so it's done (before the June 30 deadline)," Gestier said.
"He's back home and we're hoping to get him back playing but it's just a matter of where he's at with his concussion."
Klemke made a big impression in his three seasons at Crossroads Oval and played a big part in their premiership last year before accepting an invite to join the Demons.
He finished third in Collingullie-GP's best and fairest last season and formed an integral part of the Demons' midfield, alongside older brothers Ben and Jayden.
His potential return would be a much-needed boost for Collingullie-GP, and their midfield, which has struggled on occasions this season in the absence of two of the Klemke brothers.
The Demons sit in fifth position on the Riverina League ladder with three wins and three losses and face an important two weeks with games against Turvey Park and Mangoplah-Cookardinia United-Eastlakes, who sit in seventh and sixth respectively.
Meantime, Turvey Park will be without full-forward Clint Shields for Saturday's clash against the Demons at Maher Oval.
A clearance has been lodged for Shields to join Central Murray League club Balranald and he has not been named in the Bulldogs' team.
It is believed to be just for the week, coinciding with a 10-year premiership reunion.
Shields has kicked 17 goals from six games for the Bulldogs this year.
