The livewire broke his leg in a motorbike accident in the pre-season but returns to Laurie Daley Oval for an important clash with Temora on Sunday.
The Diesels are a win behind the fifth-placed Dragons and captain-coach Trent Schubach believes they've found a good time to be at full strength.
"It's the first time all year we've had 17 fresh first graders and hopefully that will make a difference," Schubach said.
"It wasn't good to have injuries at the start of the year but if we can finish strong through the back end of the year with a full-strength side we will give ourselves every chance.
"It's really a must-win if we want to play finals."
Dickson spent most of his time at Kangaroos at fullback but has been named in the centres.
Schubach expects he will have a big impact.
"He provides some X-factor we have been lacking a bit and he's a class act," he said.
"His experience will help lift the team."
Will Merritt also returns from suspension but has been named on the bench as has Tom Diggins.
Junee struggled after Daniel Foley was sent off early in the second half against Brothers before the bye but Schubach, who suffered a head knock early in the first half, thought the side was right in the contest before then.
"It went downhill then as he lost of lot of direction," he said.
"We only had one half out there and once you lose your fullback it is pretty much near all over then.
"It made it hard."
