The Sturt Highway has been closed east of Wagga as emergency services work at the scene of a serious three-vehicle crash near Forest Hill.

Police, paramedics, firefighters and Wagga City Council personnel descended on the Sturt Highway, near the Cowells and O'Hehirs roads intersection, after the smash occurred on Wednesday evening.
A police spokesperson said one of the vehicles involved was a truck and at least one person had been seriously injured.
A NSW Ambulance spokesperson said they transported one person to Wagga Base Hospital in a serious but stable condition and another person was treated on scene for minor injuries.
The spokesperson said a third person was involved in the incident but was not able to confirm their status.
Traffic was backed up in , with council crews guiding drivers through the diversions, and heavy vehicles are being directed to park.
Light vehicles are being directed around Tumbarumba Road, Gregadoo Road and Elizabeth Avenue in both directions, NSW Live Traffic advised.
