Led by a 10-goal haul from star forward Chris Ladhams, EWK were out to a five-goal lead by quarter-time and didn't look back, winning 21.7 (133) to 8.9 (57).
The 76-point win was exactly the response coach Matt Hard was after.
"I put it to the boys because we were disappointed last week," Hard said. "It was all about the response. The boys were hurting after the loss to Marrar but they trained well and came out and played a good brand today. We were consistent."
With a better midfield effort ensuring sharper delivery, Ladhams lapped up the service to get to double figures.
"He was good. He got some good footy into him, he took some good marks. It was just Chris being Chris," Hard said.
Chris Jackson added four goals while Chris Gordon and Harry Fitzsimmons led their midfield effort on the back of Kyle North-Flanagan's hard work in the ruck throughout, with Nick Hull again missing for EWK.
The Hawks also had Sam Hodges out while Ben Absolum was on the bench by half-time in his return from a hamstring problem.
"All the midfielders were good, they all chipped in and did their bit, our back six were good, it was a good even performance all round," Hard said. "We had a lot of blokes down last week, so I was pretty happy to see it."
Young TRYC ruckman Jack Driscoll also performed well in a beaten team while the veteran David Pieper worked hard throughout.
The Hawks head to Temora next week while TRYC will enjoy a bye after dropping to eighth on the ladder, four points behind Coleambally and CSU, and two wins outside the five.
