Bosman has Manticore engaged in the Ladbrokes Monthly Medal Grade Five Stakes (320m) at Wagga, where the black and white dog has drawn the coveted box one.
Bosman rates Manticore as the better of his two chances at Wagga but explained it is hard to go in too confident.
"It depends which Merv turns up," Bosman said.
"If he's on his best behaviour, his best manners and he jumps with them then he's a good chance.
"He's dropping back in grade, he gets 400 but 300 is his best distance. He prefers box eight but he's won a few times from the one so hopefully he can again."
Bosman's second runner, Dyna Elias, meets a hot field in the Graeme Hull Smash Repairs Stakes (400m).
Bosman said Dynia Elias is building towards a 500m race and believes he could be a place chance if he begins well against some quality dogs on Friday night.
