The Eagles upset reigning premier Collingullie-Glenfield Park last weekend and will travel to Coolamon with plenty of momentum.
"They had a good week last week...so they will be full of confidence and we'll have to be on our game to get the points," Maddox said.
Coolamon will be boosted by the inclusion of Luke Redfern, Max Hillier and Lochlan Dhurrkay from injury, with all three missing last weekend's 21-point loss to Griffith, the Hoppers first defeat of the season.
Jeremiah Maslin remains sidelined with injury, and is expected to be out for another fortnight yet.
The news does not get any better for Northern Territory recruit Jacon Lampton, who in his first game back from a broken foot, did the injury again in reserve grade.
Lampton will now be out for another six to eight weeks.
