Turvey Park and Wagga firefighting and HAZMAT appliances were called to assist a tow truck as it winched the light-coloured sedan from the creek at about 10.15am.
Turvey Park senior firefighter Andrew Hall said the car had left Vincent Road at the bend near Laurel Road at about 4am on Friday.
"Police asked us to attend in case there was any fuel leaking into the creek," he said.
"The car was submerged up to half way up its wheels."
Mr Hall said he believed there were no serious injuries as a result of the crash but Wagga police were yet to confirm any details from the incident.
There were no people in the car when firefighters attended after the initial crash.
