The elusive fullback requires surgery after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament in the loss to Southcity last week.
It's the second season-ending injury the Wagga side has picked up in the last month with centre Lachy Cuell also rupturing his ACL.
It means Timoci Vatubuli shifts to fullback to tackle Tumut at Equex Centre on Sunday.
Meanwhile Tumut will be without lock Thomas Jeffery for the clash.
Jeffery dislocated his shoulder in the win over Young last week and is set to miss at least a month with an AC joint.
Lewis Arragon takes his place in the starting side.
Austin McDougall also came off with a knee injury but is expected to take his place on the wing.
Tumut have only lost the once so far this season, a seven-point loss to Southcity, but Blues co-coach Dean Bristow is wary of the threat posed by the Wagga team heading into the general bye.
He rated it as a danger game for the club.
"I think they will be pretty tough," Bristow said.
"I don't think they are too far off the mark and if we let their forwards get a roll on Dumbrell could give us a bit of grief out of nine.
"We'll be trying to control the ruck and play it at our speed.
"With our big forward pack that is what we like to try and do."
The Blues will also take on former teammate Fetongi Tuinauvai for the first time after he left the club halfway through last season.
