WAGGA City Wanderers coach Ross Morgan says his team's top four hopes will hinge on improving their fortunes away from Gissing Oval after their run of outs on the road continued with Saturday's 5-2 loss to Weston Molonglo.

While the Wanderers have won all three games at home, they've now accrued just three points from four trips and their top four spot in the National Premier League Canberra competition is now under threat.
The side also lost key attacker Henri Gardner to a suspected calf injury in the first half, but Morgan is optimistic he will only miss this weekend's home clash with Queanbeyan, with a bye the following week.
Midfielder Nashwan Khedar also didn't finish the match due to injury.
After Weston Molonglo opened the scoring, Gardner found an equaliser to level scores at 1-all at half-time.
The hosts regained the lead early in the second half before Jake Ploenges levelled scores again for Wagga City.
But two late goals off the break as the Wanderers were pressing to get back into the game sealed the points for Weston Molonglo.
A couple of Wagga City goals were disallowed due to tight offside calls, but Morgan said Weston Molonglo deserved the win.
"That pattern's cropped up so far, we've got the points at home and dropped them away," Morgan said.
"This top four race, there's probably five or six teams in it and we need to pick up all our points at home, and look at the away games as bonuses.
"Prince Thompson came on 20 minutes in and performed well in midfield, Henri had a good game before he came off and it was good to see Jake Ploenges play well and get on the scoresheet again."
