The bargain retailer has suffered falling revenue for several years, and is expected to make a loss of $2 million this financial year.
As a result, the seven stores will be closed by the end of June, leaving still 357 outlets nationwide.
The city's two branches - one in South Wagga, the other in the Baylis Street Marketplace - will remain open for the foreseeable future.
"As far as we know now, we'll stay open," said a spokesperson for the Marketplace store.
Additionally, a spokesperson for South Wagga admitted there had been "no word on which stores would be closed", but that they were confident theirs would also remain operational.
Chief executive Ross Sudano announced his intentions to quit operation of the brand "in the near term".
In his place, general manager of supply, strategy and innovation, Dani Aqulina has been appointed the acting CEO in the interim.
