The Variety Bash, with 350 driving crew members in costume, had dropped in to make a $5000 donation of early intervention literacy kits to the school as part of its tour of regional NSW and the ACT.
Kooringal Public principal Grant Beard thanked Bash members for their donation after they dropped into the school hall for breakfast.
"The small things you do add up to a making a big difference for our children," he said.
Individual car crews also donated more books and sports equipment to Kooringal Public, which ran a produce hamper raffle at the breakfast to help support the school band.
Variety NSW head of regional development Jason Bourke said the $5000 donation would go towards the school's special needs unit.
"We work with the school months in advance and they tell us what's on their wishlist for their kids and we're able to donate it," he said.
"Along the Bash we are donating $50,000 to 10 small regional schools.
"I think the highlight for all of the Bashers is coming to these schools and interacting with the kids and the kids light up when they see all the cars."
As the Variety Bash procession left the school, students were treated to the sight of the Hulk give a push start to Herbie the Love Bug and a car decorated in army camouflage spray water at other vehicles through a tank turret on its roof.
The Bash was also due to visit Carrathool and Wyalong public schools.
