But Wagga High held on to book a third round Bill Turner Cup road trip against Marian College, Griffith early next month.
In the Bill Turner Trophy girls clash, TRAC retained their crown with a 3-0 shutout of Wagga High, with Tootsie Lamb (29th), Nina Riethnwller (34th) and Tahlia White (50th) scoring goals.
It is the third straight year TRAC has won the girls' regional crown after claiming their maiden title in 2017.
TRAC will travel to Cootamundra High for a spot in the fourth round.
Wagga schools play annually for the Ron Anschuetz Shields, named after the former Wagga High science teacher who had his life tragically cut short in 2015.
The high school soccer knock-out competition for boys and girls 15-years-and-under is contested by schools from Cairns through to Melbourne.
