Mater Dei downed Kildare 27-24 in last year's decider of the high school netball competition to claim their fifth consecutive crown.
But Kildare will enter the clash full of confidence after accounting for The Riverina Anglican College (TRAC) 26-19 in their first match.
Mater Dei is also yet to taste defeat after accounting for TRAC 26-14 in their opening game last week.
In other open division matches Wagga High takes on Mount Austin and Wagga Catholic College plays Kooringal High School, with all games starting at 4.15pm.
In the year seven-eights Kildare plays Mater Dei, Kooringal takes on Mount Austin and Wagga High plays Wagga Catholic College.
The last preliminary round of the competition will take place on Thursday, with finals on Thursday, May 30.
