Keen to atone for last week's 1-0 loss at Narrabundah, Kennedy and Henri Gardner both finished with doubles, while Jake Ploenges and Frank Macias also scored against the understrength visitors.
Their first clean sheet of the season was the Wanderers' fourth win in six games this year, and maintains their perfect record in three matches at home.
Midfielder Gamble was named man of the match as the Wanderers returned to the National Premier League Canberra Two's top two.
Kennedy comes with a strong pedigree in lower divisions in Europe, adding to Wagga City's already impressive strikepower.
"He's played with York City and also division two in Sweden," Morgan said.
"He's physical and past and he gave us another dimension going forward."
Wagga City travels to Weston Molonglo on Saturday, and Morgan urged as many first choice players as possible to make themselves available.
"We've just got to travel strong if we want to achieve something this season.," he said.
"We've proved we're at a level where we can make the finals, it's up to the boys where we finish up."
The Wanderers' under-20s are also in the top two after destroying Southern Tablelands 9-0 on Saturday, with Zac Pinney scoring four goals.
